Two days is the sweet spot for most Page visitors. It allows you to see Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Lake Powell at a comfortable pace, with time for a relaxed dinner and a good night's sleep between days. It does not allow for day trips to Monument Valley or Zion — those require a third day — but it covers the Page-area Big Three without the frantic scheduling of a one-day visit.

This itinerary assumes you arrive in Page the evening before Day 1 and stay two nights. If you are arriving on the morning of Day 1, shift the Antelope Canyon slot to the afternoon and start with Horseshoe Bend at sunrise.

Day 1: Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend

• Flexibility: The midday break on Day 1 and the optional Rainbow Bridge slot on Day 2 allow you to adjust based on energy, weather, and interests.

What This Itinerary Does Not Include

• Day trips to Monument Valley (2.5 hours), Zion (2 hours), Bryce Canyon (2.5 hours), or Grand Canyon North Rim (2.5 hours)
• White Pocket (1.5 hours each way on rough roads — doable but rushed)
• Lees Ferry (40 minutes each way — fits as a short add-on if you skip Rainbow Bridge)
• Multiple Antelope Canyon sections (Upper + Lower + Canyon X would take most of a day)

Variations

If You Want a More Active Day 2

Replace the boat rental with kayaking to Antelope Canyon from the lake (5-mile round-trip paddle) or a guided canyoneering tour. Both are more physically demanding but offer a different experience than a powerboat.

If You Want a More Relaxed Day 2

Skip the boat rental entirely. Do the Glen Canyon Dam visitor center and bridge walk in the morning, then spend the afternoon at Wahweap Swim Beach or Antelope Point day-use area with a picnic. No reservation, no fuel costs, no schedule.

If You Are Interested in Photography

Day 1: Antelope Canyon (Upper for light beams at 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) + Horseshoe Bend at sunset. Day 2: Glen Canyon Dam bridge at sunrise + The New Wave or White Pocket (if you have a 4WD vehicle) for late-afternoon light.
